In "Merchant Seamen" a Merchant Navy ship illustrates how their existence is threatened by the German torpedo and how they habe to be rescued by the RNLI. In "Atlantic Trawler" depicts daily life at sea for the trawler men, as their lives are constantly under treat from the enemy. The Hondo trawler depicted in this film was lost with all hands shortly after this film was made.
