Yakumo sets out to help Pai regain her mortality until he is nearly killed by a vicious attack from Takuhii, a freakish flying monster which is raging through the streets of Tokyo. Pai miracuiously saves his life but Pat is left marked with the Sign of the Wu, symbol of northingness, and thus destined like Pai, to live forever. Now Yakumo must also struggle to regain his identity. A struggle which catapults both he and Pai towards supernatural forces they barely comprehend and must conquer to survive.
Part Two:
Thei chance to regain mortality is to locate the ningen: Statue of Humanity . but once more the anicent artefact remains elusive and yakumo and Pai find Themselves embroiled in more sinister and baffling crime as they encounter eerie ceremonies and violent clashes. events take on meanacing proprtions as Pai begins realise the immense power of their enemy...
